Frequently Asked Questions
HOW DO I ORDER?
First, order a sample. Colors on your monitor may differ from actual product, plus it really helps to see it in your space. When you are ready to move ahead, call or email to let us know which pattern/color you want and how many sheets you need. We will email you an electronic invoice. You can pay us electronically or mail us a check. Once we receive payment in full, we will get to work on your beautiful handpainted wallpaper.
HOW MUCH DO I NEED?
Rush ordering is available based on the current production calendar. Rush fees will apply.
Cancellations of orders are allowable with 24 hours of receipt of payment. Bespoke orders and rush orders may not be canceled once we receive payment.
We recommend that our wallcoverings be installed by a professional installer. If you are in the Northern California Bay Area, we recommend Heidi Wright Mead. For other areas, please visit the Wallcovering Installers Association.
CAN I INSTALL SHEET WALLPAPER IN A BATHROOM?
Yes, you can install our sheet wallpaper in a bathroom. Our wallpaper is water resistant and durable. It can be lightly wiped for spot cleaning (but definitely don’t scrub it!). The only locations we don’t recommend for installation are places where oil has a high likelihood of coming in contact with the wallpaper (like behind a stove in a kitchen).
Shipping and Returns
SHIPPIING (IN THE U.S.)
We generally ship with FedEx or UPS. Your shipping fees will be included on your invoice.
SHIPPING (OUTSIDE THE U.S.)
We can ship internationally, but please contact us for more information.
Because our goods are made to order, with a substantial investment in time and materials, we do not generally accept returns. But our customers are important to us, so if you find that for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us so we can find a solution.
If you receive a damaged package, please contact us right away, so we can take the necessary next steps with the shipping company.
Please note that each sheet is a unique work of art, having subtle shadings, print variations, and other irregularities inherent to the handmade process, and some variance from your sample should be expected. We consider these irregularities to be highly desirable and are part of the beauty of our handcrafted products. They are not considered defects.
